I Am The Worst!

Hello there!

I am legit the worst blogger ever!
I haven't updated in like a month :L I am so so so sorry, I have been very busy with life here in Middle Earth and whatnot. Ok, so to begin with I do have some update coming up this week or so and I am also going to be completely re-creating this blog eventually with all the same content and name but this one is getting very disorganised and stuff so yea.

So at the moment I am sick and not really having a good time. I have been busy with school, as I had my mock exams for the past week and that was very busy with studying and all, because I actually tried to achieve this year, unlike last. I have been busy preparing my art board which is due in like 4 weeks or something, i am hopig for Excellence. I also really want to start selling my art, which I will most likely do off the blog or something like that.

I also want to start doing proper posts that i plan and stuff like that, which will definately be more appealing to people also, but again I am so sorry for not updating I have just had a busy last few weeks :l

People I Want To See In Concert!

Hey Guys!

Ok so I am going to do a post about 10 artists/bands I would love to see live! These are in no particular order, and are people I haven't seen in over a year (in some cases) I love these peoples peoples music or would love to experience them in concert for theatrical or staging reasons! Obviously there are plenty more but these are the ones I can think of now.

1. Coldplay-I love, love, love Coldplay and missed out on them last year because I chose to go to Ed Sheeran before realising that Coldplay was coming to NZ. One of the biggest regrets of last year :c

2. 30 Seconds To Mars- I would actually die if I got to see them live. My life would come to its highest point and I will forever be in an Echelon fan-girl mindset. I just LOVE them.

3. Panic At The Disco!- Ok Brendan Urie's voice is just beautiful and live it is just *ovaries explode* worthy. Not just this but this was one of my childhood bands and I really, really enjoy their music.

4.P!nk- She is probably one of my favourite female artists, she is wonderful and so unique in her styling and personality. I would die if I got to see her live and my cousin would probably hate me, but she is just wow!

5. Imagine Dragons- I missed out on seeing them this year because I was so out of the loop about them coming to New Zealand. they are probably my favourite band of the last year and their music is definately in my preferred genre. They are just AWESOME

6 Walk The Moon- One of my favourite un-mainstrean bands. They have great music, which is catchy and strangely relatable. They are quirky and different which suits their alternative genre perfectly!

7.Lady Gaga- Her stage presents alone would be AMAZING and one of the best concerts I would ever go to if I had the chance, she seems like she would be extraordinary.

8. Fall Out Boy- They were one of my favourite childhood bands and still are. Their music never seems to downgrade and is always so gooooood! I love Fall Out Boy so much!

9. Beyonce- She would be an amazing show to see. Both her vocals and dancing alone would definately win me over. I may not be the biggest fan of her music but it would be a huge regret if I got the oppurtunity and never went. Imagine if Jay-Z was there too.

10. Paramore-Definately at the top of my list for bands I love. Hayley Williams seems so energetic and would be soooo awesome to see live! Paramore is amazing!

Ed Sheeran!

So I actually went to Ed Sheerans concert in Auckland earlier this year, I think it was March. I went with 3 of my friends and it was one of my favourite days of the year so far. We left Henderson transport centre at 6.45am, more than 12 hours before the concert was actually to begin, just so we could line up and hopefully get a good place inside the arena.

We arrived at the actual arena at around 8am after buying Subway for the day and we sat about 20 metres away from the door, suprised to find out people had camped out from the night before. I decided to take one picture every hour and here are a my photos from the day:

2 Hours In Line!

Me being very happy at 3 hour in line! We had just moved up
heaps!
Lolly scramble! I don't look very happy :L 4 hours
Ring Pops! At 5 hours :D Thanks ZM!
My saviour! Gave me something to read as well as fan
myself, it was hot :L 6 hours!

The line at 6 and a half hours!

7 hours, we were standing up!

Us at the front of the line, just before the concert!

So the whole day was pretty fun and I met some really awesome people in line! I think it was definately worth the wait and the concert was so good!
Passenger was the opening act (well one but I forgot the other ones name, I think it may have been Gabrielle Aplin or something like that) and he was so so so good and had the most AMAZING stage presents, he was one of the best opening acts I have ever experienced. He sung around 5 songs I guess, and also one duet with Ed during the concert they sung 'Hearts On Fire'and it was beautiful!

Ok, Ed was just AMAZING he is such an awesome person to see live and his stage presents and audience connection is just wonderful,he was great! He sung the majority of the songs off his album '+' and then a couple others like covers and stuff. At one point of the concert he was like a metre away from us and we all sort of died a bit :3 Also he walked of stage at one point, everyone thought the show was finished but everyone in the audience was screaming 'Encore' and what did we know, Ed came back and did about 4 more songs, ending with the 'You Need Me I Don't Need You' extended edition, so it was about 20 minutes long and we got to sing as the 'West Side Story' families, the right being the Sharks and the left being the Jets
it was great! WSS is one of my favourite musicals!

The most memorable part of the whole concert was at the beginning of one of his songs, I forgot which one :L, he asked the whole audience to be dead quiet and for about a minute, and he did, he got around 15,000 people to be dead quiet and it was serene, I had never experienced something like it before.

I would definately recommend going to see Ed Sheeran if you are even only slightly interested in his music, he is amazing live and I have no regrets going, except for my lost voice and sore feet after wards (as we were standing right infront of the stage).

My Hair Routine!

Hey there my fellow Explorers ;D

So I thought that just coz I would give you guys an insight into my hair routine! So I have very curly, thick hair so I found this cool way to do it through my friend...

Ok, thanks to one of my friends, Nigya, I discovered a good soap-free way of washing your hair. The two substances may sound weird but trust me, once you try it, you will never go back to shampoo and conditioner.

So. The 2 products in this are baking soda and vinegar(I use malt but you can use cider vinegar or white vinegar also). It sounds weird but it is such a good result.

So to do this, you mix equal amounts of baking soda to water, until a paste is formed, do this in a plastic container with a lid, so when you get in the shower no more water gets into it.

After this dilute the vinegar about 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water. You can do this in the shower.

To use the baking soda paste, massage it into your roots and scalp and a small amount onto the ends. This exfoliates the scalp and helps remove dirt or loose hair. This is the equivalent to shampoo.

Rinse this out. (I usually rinse about half way out)

Then with the vinegar, add small amounts to the ends of your hair bit by bit. Also adding a tiny bit to your scalp. At this point your hair with actually start foaming as a reaction between the two but just rub this into your hair as well.

After leaving it in for about 2 to 5 minutes rinse thoroughly. (I rinse for about 5 minutes, as a precaution)

This is suitable for all hair types and if you have very curly hair, like me, your curls should be a lot more defined after using this.

Since starting this I have actually reduced the amount of times I wash my hair in a week and now try to aim for washing it every 4 to 5 days and the outcome is so much better and my hair is so much healthier since I started this.

Ok and if you are worried your hair does not smell after using this routine if you clean your hair out properly.

Tip: You can put an egg into your hair 10 minutes before showering and rinse it out at entrance for extra soft hair.

Thanks everyone!
